Dangoria Trust

This is a unique award-winning NGO located at Narsapur, Medak District, Andhra Pradesh, working to serve the poor and empower rural communities, particularly women and children through science, technology and social engineering. The Trust focuses on holistic 3A approach of Awareness + Access + Affordability – towards improvement of health, food, nutrition and environmental security in the villages of Medak district of Andhra Pradesh.

The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India presented a National Award of INR 10,00,000 for Women’s Development Through application of Science and Technology in the institutional category for the year 2011, to Dangoria Charitable Trust. The award was given at a special function in Delhi, by Sri Jaipal Reddy, Minister for Science and Technology. Dr. Bamji received the award on behalf of the Trust. Dr. Devyani Dangoria and Dr. Mahtab S Bamji have received a number of personal awards including the Living legend award of the International Union of Nutrition Scientist’s for Dr. Bamji for the noble work they have done.

RV DIYA CHARITABLE TRUST has adopted Dangoria trust to help them achieve this vision.

RV Diya Trust provides monthly groceries of up to INR 12,000.
